OEM / ODM Eyewear Service
We offer OEM and ODM service for brands, wholesalers, online sellers, and promotional product companies. But our customization service is not “template work”. Everything comes from real production workflow inside our Wenzhou factory—mold adjustment, sample polishing, color matching, printing tests, and packaging design. Below is how OEM/ODM truly works in a factory like ours.

Custom Design (ODM Development)
Some customers provide full design files; others send only hand drawings or reference pictures. Both are fine. Our design team converts these into 3D drawings suitable for mold development.
Sometimes designs look beautiful on paper but complicated in real production. For example:
- temples too thin for hinge installation
- curves that can’t be injected smoothly
- patterns requiring multi-step printing
We always explain these issues honestly because unrealistic designs may slow down production and cause QC difficulties later.
Mold Development
Mold development is the most important step. This is where real factory experience matters. We adjust structures based on:
- injection flow
- thickness balance
- avoidance of material shrink lines
- hinge strength
- nose pad comfort
During mold testing (T1, T2, sometimes T3), workers check:
- whether the frame closes correctly
- whether the lens fits tightly
- whether color spreads evenly
Sometimes the mold needs small corrections— a few tenths of a millimeter. These small changes make a huge difference in eyewear fit and comfort.

Sample Making & Adjustment
Samples are not produced on the same speed as mass production. Everything is done slower, because workers must pay attention to small defects. Common issues during sample stage:
- color too light or too dark
- lens not tight enough
- hinge movement too loose
- printing position needs adjustment
We often send photos and videos from sample tables or polishing areas. It’s not fancy—just real workers showing the sample under workshop lights.
Customers say this helps them understand how real production works in China.
Custom Colors
Color customization is extremely common. We follow Pantone references or customer samples. Injection color depends on:
- temperature
- material type
- cooling speed
Bright colors (pink, neon green, yellow) are the hardest to control. Workers often compare frames near windows under natural light. Not high-tech—but surprisingly accurate.

Custom Lens Options
We support:
- tinted lenses
- photochromic lenses
- gradient lenses
- mirror lenses
- polarized (for higher-end orders)
Lens testing is part of our QC workflow. Lens curvature and frame match must be perfect or lens will pop out under pressure.
For photochromic and polarized items, we send video tests for customers.
Logo Printing & Branding
Logo options:
- silk printing
- UV printing
- laser engraving
- hot stamping
Printing workers are very picky. If the logo is 1–2 mm off, they scrap it immediately. This is why printing takes more time than customers expect.

Custom Packaging
We support:
- custom polybags
- header cards
- color boxes
- display boxes
- gift packaging
Packaging affects both cost and volume. We calculate carton sizes carefully because shipping volume matters a lot for customers importing by sea.
Mass Production
Once the sample is confirmed, the real work begins. In mass production, workers focus on:
- color consistency
- hinge tightness
- lens installation
- surface polishing
- QC checks before packing
The workshop sometimes looks chaotic— machines running, workers switching molds, QC shouting “bring this batch back”— but this is normal for a real eyewear factory.
